We created the first Hiljaiset puut artwork together with Krista Kosonen in 2007. With our new innovation, Innofusor started to produce a modular acoustic wall panel, that was fresh and new for the markets. The product was well accepted. Nowadays, the importance of a good acoustic is widely understood, and acoustic panels are more common even in public spaces.
I have versatile working experience with design. The Mifuko, a fair trade design company that was founded by me and Minna Impiö, employs today 800 artisans in Kenya.
For me, it is important, that my work can make a difference and change the world into a better place. Materials, techniques, and collaboration with producers and designers are my biggest inspiration.
